Corsair rear brakes
« on: Aug 11, 2005, 02:27PM »
Repco don't have a part number listed for the rear drum brakes and i just wondering if any of you had experienced this sort of hassle?

So far i've called Repco, Thomsons and a couple of local mechanics without success.

Basically i'm just doing what should be a simple shoe changeover but if any of you know where i can get this stuf from let me know!

I'd say they don't have a part number for Ford Corsair rear drum brakes BECAUSE THEIR IS NO SUCH THING, no Corsairs have rear drum brakes - only some of the base model Pintaras do.

Yep... I have some rear struts with brakes out of my Corsair waiting to be fitted to my Pintara. The Corsair was the base-model GL Auto. If you do actually have drums on the back of your Corsair, it's probably from a cheap repair job earlier in the car's life using Pintara parts.
