oil pressure gauge

hey all. i have a prob with my oil pressure gauge, the thing is it just bounces up and around and even off the dial all the time. the oil pressure is fine so the gauge is brokdeded. how does one mend this probolemo..?

same thing happens to mine its like ive got a bost gauge case when u rev it goes off the clock but when it idels it sits on 4 wtf

take the oil pres guage out clean the terminals on the guage and the wires, also clean the hole at the end of the guage.
i had the same prob i did both of these and its fine now.
you can also flush the engine with a good 'engine flush'
but you must change the oil before you add the flush and then again after.(welll you dont have to do it before but i would.)
alternitively you can flush it with deisel fuel wich also works well.

Yeah mine does the same thing but only in REALLY HOT weather - ie. 40+ degrees. How do you mean a good engine flush MrTRX?
