idling high

when i get off the highway or have been dogging my car, it idles high(1300rpm) for a few minutes. it didnt use to do this. normally idled around 900-1000 rpm.
is this something i should be concerned about?

Your idle control gear might need a good clean out and if that doesn't help, replace it from another U12.
