where did you get your info from?  could it be using a diffrent coil or something???

if it's a CA20E I would have thought they would all use the same plugs.
I spent my money on sothern comfort and speeding fines, the rest I wasted.

they're different inlet side and exhaust side - maybe there's the confusion...

Where are you getting the info from that suggests they are different? Catalogue somewhere?

thought i'd seen it somewhere - NGK spark plugs website says:

Pintara:
inlet      BCPR6ES
Exhaust   BCPR5ES

Corsair Inlet: BKR6E
     Exhaust: BKR5E

strangely enough - they recommend different spark plugs. I don't know how they're different.

Thats actually what i thought. Only i didnt want to say it so i didnt sound like a dick because considering there the same engine you would think everything was identical.

Even the Ford and Nissan parts catalogues have different part numbers and cross references for spark plugs.

but, the part number in the ford catalogue wasn't actually available when i looked at it last... (a couple of years ago when I worked at a ford dealer)

I reckon it doesn't matter at all which you use, it's the same engine after all.

cool cool. i remember looking in one of those tuning guides that list all the recommended tuning/parts for all model cars, and it had the gaps listed differently. but yeh, the gap doesnt matter either it'll still run fine.
