ok i think i get ya, alrite, so it stays in gear, but just the shifter moves around?? cuz thius is the go with mines, its just wear and tear on the gear lever (from shifter to gear box) there just nylon bushes which have flogged out after time, not really much to worry about until it makes the car hard to shift between gears.

if this is what it is ill give ya more details on whats goin on.. just so i dont confuse ya too much!

if you mean that its not staying in gear, say for example, you put the car in gear and you take off and it pops out of gear, chances are you have done what i did & pushed the gear out of position.

if this is the case, take it to someone as soon as you can, and try avoid using that gear, if it becomes unusable, cahnces are you'll need a new gearbox/get the old box reco'd just like i did.

trx boxes arent the cheapest things around. they're fairly difficult to find too.

Check your front and rear engine mounts....  Roll Eyes Mine was jumping around a fair bit coz the rubber of the front mount had deteriorated.
