hey guys, the other week my transmission has shit its self, and im seeking a replacement.
question: does the CA20e Transmission bolt onto the KA24e engine?

i've had no luck seeking a new one.
would anyone be selling a second hand transmission?
not too expensive i hope  Wink

The ca20 uses a different block to the ka24 so no the gearboxes arnt exchangeable.

aaah okay thanks mate.

umm im after a automatic trans.
i forgot to state that

anyone who would know of a southeastn wreckers or any location with a auto 2.4 transmission would be helpful.
i tried Jolly's in dandenong but he only had the 2.0 trans.

I had an Auto Ka24e LSD gearbox, gave it to a friend who owns a wreckers up here, he probably still has it. I'm in country vic, bout 200kms north of melbourne if you want it.

How much would you want for it?
i desperatly need a near gearbox

i live in cranbourne
so i'd most likely have to get it transported.
