hey guys,

jst looking for advice about a front mount for 94 bluey sss, is it worth putting one on without a turbo in the gains department, i am trying to maximise air flow then get it professionally chipped, to get the most out of it, what kind of gains would i expect and characteristics, eg... low end torque, stuff like that, and how much would a good price beand what brand and size, this will accompany either a CAI or short ram intake, undecided what i should get plus a magnaflow cat

i have a few months until i can drive a turbo so as well i might as well get it ready for it, if i do it that is or keep it

I can sell u a fmic but it wouldnt do u any good. Only for a forced induction setup mate... I got good gains from a cai on my pintara, there cheap and easy to make, also im sure noss will have something for u to get some decent gains....

really, i spose when u think about it, i dont have serious hardware to cool so maybe no good.... forced induction... i was told bomz is one of the better 'altima' intakes that need no modification, i hate retrofitting, my bad for buying a car without a range of parts accessible locally... but im happy with my sound, loudish at low, sucky and quietish at high-end

No gains with having the engine work hard to draw air through a FMIC. Regarding the chip, AntrxShop are selling them but not for KA24DE yet. I would wait till 1 of those came out rather than wasting on a more expensive one with not much difference between it and the Antrx Chips.

also where are you located? sydney, germany, the moon? it normally helps in the sale if the buyer knows where you are. or are you going to post the car to the buyer in small pieces so they can re-assemble it like a dodgy lego kit?

a FMIC will decrease the airflow to your radiator, also if you were to run it to your intake your car will seriously lag, and run like absolute shit, if you havent got aftermarket headers and a exhaust thats something i would be looking into
