How to post pictures

Every now and then someone asks about posting pictures on the forums, there doesn't seem to be a clear and concise answer on the forums, so hopefully this will make it easy for everyone;

1.  To post a picture on the forums you will need to upload it onto a picture hosting website such as:

www.imageshack.us 
the good thing about imageshack is that you don't have to sign up to be able to upload a picture

www.photobucket.com

2.   Once you've uploaded your picture you'll need to find out what it's location/url/link is..

example;
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v517/trxtech/mtwellingtonsnow.jpg

3.   Then if you haven't already done so you need to put the pictures url into image tags (click on the picture icon below the Bold/Itallic icons)

Code:

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v517/trxtech/mtwellingtonsnow.jpg[/img]

4.   Which should result in the picture showing up in your post, like so;

[Ka-Bluey]

Same way as in a post, you just don't have a pretty button to put the [ img ] tags in for you

i.e. type

[ img] http://www.address-of-your-image-goes-here.com/pic.jpg[/img]
